And to answer your question, Molly, most of my fave quotes are from Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, Louis de Bernieres’ Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner and James Frey’s A Million Little Pieces to name a few. Most of the quotes I post are from online sources, though.

Are you sure that quote from a couple of weeks ago about a room without books being souless is from Cicero and not Edith Wharton? Books weren't invented until much later and the cost was extremely prohibited. Those who could afford one or two would have been much more likely to keep them under lock and key than decorate with them.

Hi, if you’re referring to the quote, “A room without books is like a body without a soul”, then yes, I believe this quote is from Cicero. Apart from the quotes from books I’ve read and movies I’ve watched, most of my quotes I post here are actually from online sources (goodreads, thinkexist, etc). I appreciate your feedback, though. I have received similar feedback in the past and I’m always willing to correct sources if there is a need to do so. Interesting info on books, by the way :)

I am so happy that you quoted Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. It is one of my favorite books. I have a copy full of highlighted quotes. :) By the way, I LOVE your blog!

I've never seen a blog riddled with so many online ad's. I'm disappointed that it took me 5 minutes to finally submit this. Bad ad's are bad
